FINDING LOCAL SOLUTIONS TO GLOBAL PROBLEMS

About Us

GOODLand is a Living Archive within Martha Atienza’s ArtLab. Based on Bantayan Island, Philippines, it uses art as a methodology to explore how communities respond to environmental, social, and economic challenges through collective learning, local knowledge, and experimentation.

What We Do?

Observe

We document local knowledge, biodiversity, stories, and everyday life as part of an evolving Living Archive.

Experiment

We create collaborative projects that test ideas around food, water, ecology, education, and community resilience.

Share

We connect communities, artists, researchers, and institutions to exchange knowledge and build new possibilities together.
